Coca-Cola

During the preparations for the London Olympic Games in July 2012, Coca-Cola asked the well-known producer Mark Ronson to write a special number for this international sporting event. This lead to the song ‘Anywhere in the world’. Coca-Cola, the historic sponsor of the Olympic Games, then went on to organise the ‘Move to the beat’ campaign, which included a major competition in which participants could demonstrate their DJ talents by making a remix of ‘Anywhere in the world’.

Alongside this there was also a competition to win tickets for a secret gig in London on 11 May, in the presence of Mark Ronson and several VIPs. Tickets were also provided for the media that carried promotions for this campaign.

Our recommendation: Knack Focus and Focus Vif, Roularta’s entertainment magazines, offer the ideal context and the perfect readership for building an editorial and promotional story around this campaign.
