MEDIALAAN (50% ROULARTA) CLOSES DEAL WITH UEFA

From September 2018 to June 2022 no less than 40 Red Devils matches will be shown exclusively on VTM, under an agreement MEDIALAAN has struck with UEFA.

The contract covers the qualifying matches for the 2020 European Championship (UEFA EURO 2020) and the European qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar (FIFA WORLD CUP 2022). In addition to these decisive qualifiers the deal includes the Red Devils' friendly matches during the same period, to be broadcast live on VTM.

Also new is that MEDIALAAN has acquired the rights to the 'UEFA Nations League', a brand new country tournament in which the Red Devils will take on the Europe's major football nations. This 55-country competition will be played mainly in the years where there is no European Championship or World Cup. In this way, every odd year there will be a new title to win. The Red Devils are partnering more and more with VTM.
